Surprise me!

Today I went for surprises! I started with the Diva´s weekly challenge 282. She wanted us to spill something and from there go tangling. I am a Virgo. I hate spilling things. If I spill something on my clothes I must go an change it at once. Spilling on original tiles is almost forbidden for me. But I did. I spilled coffe on mine. My morning coffe before I poured milk in it. I didn´t like the spots, so I turned the tile and got some nice lines from it. I should have taken a before-pic, but of course I forgot that. Here is the result:

Patterns: A-Dalfa (Bunny Wright), Xav (Adele Bruno), Sanibelle (Tricia Faraone), Madrono (Maria Perez-Tovar), Dro´t/Wire/Drath (Ferenc Nagy) and something that just happened: The squares above Adele Bruno´s Xav. Don´t know if that exists as a tanglepattern but it probably does.

Now I think I will spill things more often, since I had a lot of fun doing this!

Next stop for surprises was a travelling tangle from Sabrina Kirjavainen.

Here is the before pic:

She sent me three unfinished tiles and this one was the tricky one.
Blue paint and Quandary was ok with me, but metallic gold and silver! Nothing or almost nothing sticks on that! I never use metallic-pens so I don´t have much of that. I found a goldmetallic leftover from some christmascardmaking.

Well that one didn´t work to well and I belived I had destroyed everything. Fortunately I found that Gelly-pen did work on metallic! So my white and silver gelly-pen got to do the job! Or most of it. I widened Quandary and added a kind of A-Dalfa. Couldn´t make the black thing in it but liked it the way it came out.

Belive it or not. I did like this outcome! And I had much fun struggling with this! Thank´s to Sabrina for giving me this experience!

Lovely spills. I hate spills on my cloths too but there is nothing more pleasant than spilling on a tile. You always get unexpected results and they give really fun.
I like your results, both of them but my favorite is the traveling tile!

I absolutely love your Diva tile, especially the little hooks around the drips. I might have to steal that;-) Your solution to Sabrina's start is so clever. It makes me think of ancient frescos

Goodness, I would have to change many times a day! Good thing it doesn't bother me LOL! Love your coffee tile, especially the Sanibelle. You really made some perfect additions to your traveling tile too.
